Five kilometers
from Mountain Breeze we find Thailand’s oldest marine
national park Khao Sam Roi Yot. The park is a good
place for hiking, presenting magnificent views of
the island scattered coastline. It preserves some
of the finest examples of shoreline habitat remaining
in Thailand. The park holds rare species including
goat-antelope, Malayan porcupine, crab-eating macaque,
mongoose, leopard cat, Irrawaddy dolphins and leopard.
The park is also home to more than 300 species of
bird especially migratory shore birds and waterfowl
and is therefore highly appreciated among bird-watchers.
