| Prachuapkhirikhan – the number one province in Thailand for long-stay |
| The Department of Tourist Development of Thailand recently presented a study presenting Prachuap-khirikhan as the most suitable coastal province for long stay tourism. The report rank several evaluation criteria and found that Prachuapkhirikhan is the one province complying with most of them. Among the most important criteria are low crime rates, friendly locals, well developed infrastructure, exquisite means of transportation and excellent medical care. | Excellent weather conditions |
| The weather conditions are also in favor of Prachuapkhirikhan as a long stay destination. Hua Hin was chosen as the Royal resort due to the excellent weather and climate. It has one of the lowest rain falls in Thailand. From October to April the autumn and winter months of the northern hemisphere it rains only half as much in Hua Hin as in Phuket, seen over the whole year the rainfall in Hua Hin is 39% of that in Phuket. |
